Alameda Sunday June 5, other June appearances, New pieces

The upcoming Alameda Antique show on Sunday is forecasted to have chances of showers. However, I am planning on showing at this point, booth N-15 as usual. Below are a few photos of some new pieces. Many of the cabinets, tables, etc. in last few posts are also still avail. Future scheduled shows for June are Sat. 6/11 at Grand Lake Farmers Market in Oakland, Sun. 6/26 and Thurs. 6/ 30 at the San Rafael Civic Center farmers Market. I am not planning on attending Alameda again until Oct. Other July and August appearances will be posted here first week of July. Here are a couple photos of a pair of very cool industrial factory carts. The tops have been polished, the carts then were laquered.

This piece was created from an antique english washstand. Interesting contrast between the quarter sawn oak and the distressed beadboard.

Another mirror made from my stash of antique victorian windows.

Small octagonal coffee table, antique balusters.

Console table, multicolored top. Check out the house numbers on the front legs.

Small bench with shelf. Great for entry, shoe shelf, etc.

Same bench, larger.

This was a salvage yard find, a victorian solid black walnut small cabinet. I added the top, sides, painted it.

Old growth redwood planters from salvaged timbers, remilled.

Nice vintage chair, very 4th of july colors.

The nightstand on the right began as a vintage sewing machine cabinet. I added the drawer, top, painted it white.

Another victorian solid black walnut piece. Double drop leaf top, painted.

Another console table. Very cool porch brackets on the sides.

A custom console table.
